Elmtree Cottage is a quaint Cape Venacular cottage set in the prestigious Bokkemanskloof Estate. The cottage comprises a double volume living area, well appointed kitchen, master bedroom with queen size bed, loft bedroom and bathroom with large shower.
The cottage sleeps a total of 4 persons.
The cottage is well suited to indoor/outdoor living, with french doors opening onto a timber deck under reed verandah with own garden, barbeque facilities and views of the mountain.
The accommodation can be serviced by arrangement.
The following facilities are available in the cottage:
- Master bedroom with queen size bed.
- Loft bedroom (two single beds).
- Well appointed kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and microwave, including all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
- Colour TV with satellite channels and radio CD player.
- Pure cotton linen in master bedroom, together with electric blankets and bath towels.
- Ample off-street parking and an alarm system in the cottage.
- Barbeque facilities and fire wood provided.
The following facilities are available on the property:
- Large garden with direct access onto the mountain where there are several walks around the estate and in the immediate surrounds.
- A sparkling saltwater swimming pool.
- Your hosts, Megan and Sean are able to give you excellent advice on attractions in the area.
Attractions in the around Hout Bay:
- Hout Bay village with its craft markets, restaurants, bustling harbour and sandy beach is just minutes away.
- Hout Bay is 20kms from the city centre and Waterfront, and is within 10kms of the Constantia shopping centre and Constantia wine estates. It is approximately 15 minutes from the cable car for Table Mountain viewing, 35 minutes from Cape Point, and about 40 minutes from the major wine routes in Paarl, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. Many guests have remarked on Hout Bay’s centrally situated position with respect to the major tourist attractions of Cape Town and its environs.
- For the energenic, there are walks on the Constantiaberg or Table Mountain, horse riding, mountain biking, sea kayaking and big wave surfing.
- Other attractions include sunset cruises to Seal Island, the World of Birds and world famous Chapmans Peak.

High Season: November - March R600.00 + R50.00/p/p.
Mid Season: April, October R450.00 + R50.00/p/p.
Low Season: May - September R400.00 + R50.00/p/p.
Children under 2 years - Free.
A campcot is available on request.
- Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit.
