As its name suggests, number 10 Waters edge
is literally on the sand-swept beaches of Melbosstrand, with the
spectacular view of Table Mountain and Robben Island in the distance.
Take languid walks along our never ending beaches...
...and witness some of the southern hemispheres
most beautiful sunsets just minutes from where you stay.
Melkbosstrand is named after the milk wood trees growing just north
of the village. It is a nature lovers destination with vast
stretches of natural wetlands, whale watching and our famous West
Coast flowers in Spring. The Koeberg and Rietvlei Nature Reserves
are close by.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people and can accommodate a
further person in a pull-out bed.
It is on the second floor and has sea views from both bedrooms and
the veranda. Even the kitchen has a vista of Table Mountain.
The flat is fully equipped, including Satellite television and
if you are fortunate enough to stay here between November and March,
when cray fishing is permitted, the apartment overlooks a crayfish
diving spot. There is secure underground parking.
The village of Melkbos is not far from the Durbanville wine route,
